I am so proud of being from North Carolina. What a beautiful state. Within 8 hours radially you can be in a metro center (Raleigh or Charlotte), rural tobacco country (Ahoskie, Kinston, or Wallace), the beginning of the Appalachian country and beautiful mountains (Bryson City, Asheville, Hendersonville), or at the oceanfront (Nags Head, Rodanthe, or even Wilmington). It is just an incredible state. So incredible that four of us (me, Laura LaVoie, Ryan Mitchell, and Steven Harrell) tiny house folk got together to become advocates of it and its obvious relevance to the tiny house community at large.
